What are some good web RSS readers to replace google reader?
What are some good web RSS readers to replace google reader?

How about giving +1’s?
Any chance of tweaking it so that I could give +1’s to articles irrespective of and in addition to sharing them in G+ posts? From what I can tell, giving +1’s isn’t currently supported by the plugin.
Google Reader had +1 tied to sharing so that in order to share on G+ I had to +1 it first. That was okay but not entirely optimal: +1 and posting on G+ about something could IMHO very well be two separate functions, so that you could
* only +1 something
* only share it in a G+ post
* do both if you like
As a workaround for openyahtzee in 12.04, here’s a command
As a workaround for 12.04, here’s a command that replaces the settings file with an unwritable empty one that seems to prevent the issue from occurring:
$ rm -f ~/.openyahtzee && touch ~/.openyahtzee && chmod -w ~/.openyahtzee
This obviously prevents you from saving any settings, but then again you can’t utilize saved settings with the buggy version anyway.
To revert the workaround, remove the unwritable dummy file with:
$ rm -f ~/.openyahtzee
Newsblur vaikutti pikaisella kokeilulla lupaavalta
Newsblur (joka on kuulemma perustettu jo vuosia sitten tätä päivää ennakoiden) vaikutti pikaisella kokeilulla lupaavalta, mutta tämän TSI-miehen vei lopulta Tiny Tiny RSS. Ennen Readeria käytin jonkin aikaa Netvibesia, joka on vieläkin olemassa. Readeriin tottuneen täytyy kylläkin Netvibesissa opetella tyystin erilainen tyyli kuluttaa sisältöä.
It would have been valuable to clear it up right there
Came here to comment on this: Brady obviously posed that question from the layman perspective, which confuses chaotic with random, and unfortunately the physicist in his response didn’t directly address the confusion. It would have been valuable to clear it up right there, now the confused people probably leave the video with their confusion still in place. Here’s hoping there’ll be a follow-up video on this topic (if there isn’t already), chaos theory is one of my favorite subjects!
Unexpected
Also I like annoying Apple fans.
That was so unexpected I almost had a heart attack.
The last thing you’ll want to recommend
No offence, but pornography is the last thing you’ll want to recommend for reliable, anatomically correct demonstration of this (too). There may be such material, but as with almost every factual subject in porn, it’s overwhelmed by stuff where it’s faked (in all kinds of dumb, obvious and less obvious ways), so for someone looking to educate themselves, they better look elsewhere.
That is one long corridor
That is one long stone corridor.
