It is licensed under the<a title=\"Wikipedia: Creative Commons licenses\" href=\"https:\/\/secure.wikimedia.org\/wikipedia\/en\/wiki\/Creative_Commons_licenses\">Creative Commons-Attribution-Sharealike-Noncommercial license<\/a>, but Scott has been somewhat liberal about this; for example (according to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=LRhbcDzbGSU\">the talk he gave as part of showing the film on Google Tech Talks<\/a>) he himself contributed to getting the film properly featured on\u00a0<a title=\"Wikipedia: The Pirate Bay\" href=\"https:\/\/secure.wikimedia.org\/wikipedia\/en\/wiki\/The_Pirate_Bay\">The Pirate Bay<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s an\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.getlamp.com\/cast\/\">online gallery of interviewees<\/a> available on the film&#8217;s website, and here&#8217;s why I brought this up here: I figured it might be worthwhile to ask if Scott would lax the licensing on some of the screenshots, as that would provide pictures of people for their corresponding articles here on Wikipedia. For example, of the six people at the beginning of the gallery at least\u00a0<a title=\"Wikipedia: Michael Berlyn\" href=\"https:\/\/secure.wikimedia.org\/wikipedia\/en\/wiki\/Michael_Berlyn\">Michael Berlyn<\/a>,\u00a0<a title=\"Wikipedia: Nick Montfort\" href=\"https:\/\/secure.wikimedia.org\/wikipedia\/en\/wiki\/Nick_Montfort\">Nick Montfort<\/a> and\u00a0<a title=\"Wikipedia: Edward Packard\" href=\"https:\/\/secure.wikimedia.org\/wikipedia\/en\/wiki\/Edward_Packard\">Edward Packard<\/a> have their own articles, each without a likeness picture.<\/p>\n<p>Any ideas if and how I (or someone) should proceed with this?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I figured it might be worthwhile to ask if Jason Scott would lax the licensing on some of the screenshots from Get Lamp.
