I have a Huawei E3131 USB 3G dongle, which is listed as supported on this router by your list of supported 3G\/4G devices (event\/networks_3G4G_support) here in Finland (the operator is DNA). I have the current latest firmware on the RT-N66u (3.0.0.4.376_1071), but when I plug the dongle in the router’s USB, it does not get a 3G connection; the LED stays blinking and the router still claims ”No device” for both USB ports on the ”Network map” screen. The dongle does work if I plug it directly into my computer so that I’m able to connect to the 3G internet, so the dongle is not at fault here. There lsusb listing says the dongle’s device id is 12d1:151d.<\/p>\n
Syslog on the router seems to indicate that the dongle is only identified as a mass storage device:<\/p>\n
