I saw you on the Tel\u00advis awards cere\u00admo\u00adny<\/a>, and heard your kind words on the friend\u00adli\u00adness of the Fin\u00adnish people. So I am wri\u00adting to you now to express my hopes that you do not feel any sort of pity when fea\u00adtu\u00adring our count\u00adry on your show. #<\/a><\/p>\n

The way I see it, the\u00adre are two kinds of people in this count\u00adry when it comes to your show. The\u00adre are tho\u00adse of us who are not afraid of being slam\u00admed by your iro\u00adny and the won\u00adder\u00adful\u00adly delicious sarcas\u00adtic jokes. I belie\u00adve the\u00adse are the people who so ent\u00adhusias\u00adtical\u00adly approac\u00adhed you during the first \u201cConan O\u2019Brien hates my home\u00adland\u201d -skits; they - we - find such vicious humor very appea\u00adling even, if not especial\u00adly, when direc\u00adted at us<\/em>, and we are not impai\u00adred by our sen\u00adsi\u00adbi\u00adli\u00adties. #<\/a><\/p>\n

But the\u00adre\u2019s anot\u00adher group, which is just as eager to hear you say nas\u00adty things about their belo\u00adved count\u00adry, but their moti\u00adva\u00adtion for it is of dif\u00adfe\u00adrent natu\u00adre: they are just wai\u00adting for a chance to begin grun\u00adting how bad\u00adly we\u2019\u00adve been depic\u00adted once again. This bunch of people seems to lack all sen\u00adse of self iro\u00adny, if not even all sen\u00adse of humor. Unfor\u00adtu\u00adna\u00adte\u00adly, it seems we are lead by such people: as the recent Muham\u00admad car\u00adtoon cont\u00adro\u00adver\u00adsy<\/a> spread, and people throug\u00adhout Euro\u00adpe expres\u00adsed their sup\u00adport for free\u00addom of expres\u00adsion, all we heard in Fin\u00adland was con\u00addem\u00adning and apo\u00adlo\u00adge\u00adtic voices, cul\u00admi\u00adna\u00adting in a sad apo\u00adlo\u00adgy<\/a> made by our chic\u00adken shit pri\u00adme minis\u00adter. The fuc\u00adking pri\u00adme minis\u00adter of Fin\u00adland<\/em>, with abso\u00adlu\u00adte\u00adly no aut\u00adho\u00adri\u00adty to speak for Finns such as myself! #<\/a><\/p>\n

This is the rea\u00adson why I\u2019d very much enjoy see\u00ading you do your best in bas\u00adhing our count\u00adry. It\u2019ll be sad to see tho\u00adse humor\u00adless people take the oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adty to express their fee\u00adling of let-down when you did not love them back, as they tried to suck up to<\/del> love you. But as you can see, we, the ones with a sen\u00adse of humor here are in a no-win situa\u00adtion, so at least we can take this oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adty to laugh at our count\u00adry toget\u00adher with you. Because, if tho\u00adse other people had their way, you\u2019d only be allowed to say nice things about us and otherwi\u00adse you should shut up. #<\/a><\/p>\n

Final\u00adly, I\u2019d like to thank you for your excel\u00adlent show. Like you said when inter\u00adviewed by a Fin\u00adnish mor\u00adning show, with all the serious\u00adness and serious people in the world, what we need is more sil\u00adly people like you. #<\/a><\/p>\n
