Torvalds creates patch for cross-platform virus

Easy fix for corrupt XP boot
“[Many] “Missing or corrupt HAL.DLL,” “Invalid Boot.Ini,” or “Windows could not start…” problems can be fixed with these five shortcut steps:
- Boot from your XP Setup CD and enter the Recovery Console
- Run “Attrib -H -R -S” on the C:\Boot.ini file
- Delete the C:\Boot.ini file
- Run “Bootcfg /Rebuild”
- Run Fixboot
It really can be as simple as that!”

YLE uudisti teksti-tv:tä, PDC lopetettiin
“Kevään 2006 aikana YLE uudistaa tekstitelevision tuotantojärjestelmän. Tämä on ensimmäinen vaihe analogisten palveluiden vaiheittaisessa lopettamisessa. […] Kuluneen puolivuotiskauden aikana lähetysjärjestelmässä on havaittu vakavia ongelmia, jotka uudistuksen yhteydessä saadaan kuntoon.”
Nuo häiriöt lienevät niitä, jotka tekivät kakkosen teksti-tv:stä vitsin.
“Uudessa järjestelmässä TV1:n ja TV2:n sivustot ovat yhteviä.Kummallakin kanavalla sivu 310 on “TV2 huomenna ja ylihuomenna, sivut 311–317 “TV1:n viikko”.
