Thunderbird 'Feed Url' field context menu missing 'Paste'
I hope the problem of having no ‘Paste Link Location’ in the context menu of Feed Url insertion will be fixed. I seem to be bumping into it constantly.
(Yes, this is just a road sign for my own future googling of the title.)

Damn. This means my problems with the hanging Thunderbird process will continue.
Signature Switch on addons.mozilla.org is still at non- 1.5 compatible 0.9.4 for some reason even though 1.5 compatible 1.0.1 is available from the author.

SwitchProxy for Firefox 1.5
Just installed Phil Randal’s Firefox 1.5 compatible version of SwitchProxy, the link to which was on the SwitchProxy forum. Seems to be working just fine!

Firefox 1.5 buffer overflow
“Basically firefox logs all kinda of URL data in it’s history.dat file, this little script will set a really large topic and Firefox will then save that topic into it’s history.dat.. The next time that firefox is opened, it will instantly crash due to a buffer overflow — this will happen everytime until you manually delete the history.dat file — which most users won’t figure out.
this proof of concept will only prevent someone from reopening their browser after being exploited. DoS if you will. however, code execution is possible with some modifcations.”
