Using italics in Blogger comments
@ 19:34
Ending a line with </i> is a bad idea when commenting a Blogger-powered blog; for some reason it causes the following line of text (regardless of the amount of newlines in between) to be rendered incorrectly right after the italic text in the preceding paragraph. Perhaps the worst part of the problem is that it isn't visible in the preview of your comment (it shows up correctly there), but only after publishing it.
I don't know whether this applies to other elements as well; I've only tested italics, and the amount of tags allowed in Blogger comments is very limited anyway.
So I developed a simple work-around Skm: you need to insert an additional space after the closing of italics, just before the newline. This causes it to be rendered the way you'd suppose it to be.
While writing this, the issue seems to go unmentioned in Blogger's list of known issues.
