Recently, I made a post on Hydrogen Audio about wanting to look at other players than Winamp, the first response was to look at Foobar2000. I knew this player was still at a 0.x version number, so didn’t want to look until it was a finished product. It’s a generally followed convention that 0.x versions are not finished products. This immediately lead to a right royal flaming. Foobar2000 zealots wouldn’t have it that their beloved player was not yet finished. People jumped on me. I was banned for being a troll, until I spoke with a moderator and satisfied him that I wasn’t.
