“We’ve got a new bugfix and security release for both of our actively maintained branches of WordPress. Version 2.1.1 includes about 30 bug fixes, mostly minor things around encoding, XML-RPC, the object cache, and HTML code. It’s available for immediate download on our download page.
Version 2.0.9 only includes the security update, which was around the code we use to prevent XSS. You can download it from our release archive. […]
This is a low-to-medium priority update recommended for all WordPress users.”

WordPress 2.0.7 Released
Recently a bug in certain versions of PHP came to our attention that could cause a security vulnerability in your blog. We’re able to work around it fairly easily, so we’ve decided to release 2.0.7 to fix the PHP security problem and the Feedburner issue that was in 2.0.6. It is recommended that everyone running WordPress 2.0.6 or lower upgrade to this new version.

Search Comments Plugin for WordPress
Stinky Dad’s Search Comment plugin at Frorse’s plugins (via) was apparently written for WP 1.5, but it seems to work just fine with 2.0.5, too. The results blend smoothly among the results of the normal, posts-only search, which was exactly what I was looking for.
Funnily, as I tried Dan Cameron’s Search Everything, which is said to be 2.0 and even 2.1 compatible, that didn’t work for me.
