Jani Surprised how rare 2.5 " PATA to slim PATA adapters seem to be. There would have been plenty of options, had my spare 2.5 " HDD been SATA, but alas it is IDE as well. The only pre-made PATA-PATA solution I've found online is the Optical Bay Hard Drive Caddy (OBHD) from Newmodeus (in the US, making it costly to import). I have a broken slim optical drive already cracked open so I wouldn't even need a caddy, just the cabling.
