I was left wondering how come the models we have of the birth of the Universe don’t tell us about dark matter and energy being formed (and thus what it is and how to look for it). I guess it works the other way round, we need to know the properties of something before we start working out explanations of how it came to be. But then again, if something so pervasive as dark matter is real and yet missing from the current origin models, I’d expect them to make all kinds of false predictions.
What is surprising to me is that we’re still so hung up on this. AFAIK we’ve even done actual experiments somewhat like Schrödinger’s cat and it’s not widely thought that superpositions survive anywhere near the level of a cat, and that the unresolved issues currently being scrutinised are things like ”how big an object can we keep in a superposition for any useful length of time”.
So please, skin the cat and tell us what we know about it in 2013!
I’m actually surprized he didn’t discover Sam’s porn stash there on the customized disk. Sam must’ve wisely removed that drawer’s icon…
What a trip down memory lane, thank you!
Came here to comment on this: Brady obviously posed that question from the layman perspective, which confuses chaotic with random, and unfortunately the physicist in his response didn’t directly address the confusion. It would have been valuable to clear it up right there, now the confused people probably leave the video with their confusion still in place. Here’s hoping there’ll be a follow-up video on this topic (if there isn’t already), chaos theory is one of my favorite subjects!
That is one long stone corridor.
Have Youtubedoubler play Eye of the Tiger with this for the Ultimate inspiration.
Imagine the consequences if Torch was there when Skrull leader let out that beast of a fart.
Naturally, a lady must put on her makeup.
