Ah, it seems to be just U2D which I was testing earlier today. I too can file all the bugs I want against ’unity’, but if I try `ubuntu-bug unity-2d` all I get is the ”third party package” error. Reproduced this also in a clean VM to be sure.
With Unity updated from the PPA, you cannot file bugs against it using ubuntu-bug, you’ll just get an error message saying ”Please remove any third party package and try again.” You can still file bugs directly on Launchpad using the browser, but then the report won’t have the logs attached to it.

@guarinex70 Is it a laptop? Unfortunately for laptops, the Flashrom project people recommend not to use flashrom, due to poor support. If it is a laptop and unless you have means to recover if something goes wrong, I suggest asking on the Flashrom mailing lists whether they think it’s safe. On the other hand, if I’m mistaken and it’s a regular desktop PC, you should be okay in my experience. I’ve flashed several desktop computers with flashrom without problems.

Yes, the flashrom parameter to write the ROM file is -w, the video title shows the exact command I typed in for the procedure. And yes, that’s revision 2101 of the BIOS going in. I downloaded it from ASUS’s site: look for the product page for your motherboard if you have an ASUS, and the Download section there. For this board they’ve since released revision 2102 which I haven’t tried.
