I have a Huawei E3131 USB 3G dongle, which is listed as supported on this router by your list of supported 3G/4G devices (event/networks_3G4G_support) here in Finland (the operator is DNA). I have the current latest firmware on the RT-N66u (3.0.0.4.376_1071), but when I plug the dongle in the router’s USB, it does not get a 3G connection; the LED stays blinking and the router still claims ”No device” for both USB ports on the ”Network map” screen. The dongle does work if I plug it directly into my computer so that I’m able to connect to the 3G internet, so the dongle is not at fault here. There lsusb listing says the dongle’s device id is 12d1:151d.
Syslog on the router seems to indicate that the dongle is only identified as a mass storage device:
Jul 1 12:08:45 kernel: scsi1 : SCSI emulation for USB Mass Storage devices
Jul 1 12:08:47 kernel: scsi 1:0:0:0: CD-ROM HUAWEI Mass Storage 2.31 PQ: 0 ANSI: 2
Jul 1 12:08:47 kernel: scsi 1:0:0:0: Attached scsi generic sg1 type 5
Jul 1 12:08:47 kernel: sr0: scsi-1 drive
Jul 1 12:08:47 kernel: Uniform CD-ROM driver Revision: 3.20
Jul 1 12:08:49 kernel: Uniform CD-ROM driver unloaded
After this, there are no further messages about the dongle in the log (and indeed, no way to access it from the router’s GUI in any way).
Do you know about this issue, and will this dongle be supported in future firmware updates for the router?
Interesting. I used to think psychopaths had certain immunity against suicidal behavior, but turns out that idea of Cleckley’s is now considered outdated in literature, at least according to ”Psychopathy, Antisocial Personality and Suicide” by Verona, Patrick & Joiner. (In their own study, they too found positive correlation between the impulsive/antisocial component of PCL-R (F2) and suicidal behavior.)
But why would you put any weight on what a pathological liar and someone probably poorly skilled in introspection told about themselves? (Not saying a tv show is that much more reliable as a source though.)
Why, it’s the one I’ve hand baked myself of course.
I don’t see a J in there, instead there are two L’s. A weird anomaly, almost as if somehow significant…
And here I was thinking it was the gynecologist all along. Silly me.
