Turbiinihallissa aherrettiin tämän operaation parissa kahdessa vuorossa noin 35 hengen voimin. Kaikkiaan roottorinvaihto vaati 20 erilaista työtä ja 62 erillistä työvaihetta. Näiden lisäksi ohjelmaan lukeutui myös 22 erilaista tarkastusvaihetta. Oheisella videolla koko operaatio on tiivistetty minuuttiin.

Lahden kaupunki pilotoi uudenlaisia, pölyttäjäystävällisiä katuvaloja, joista pölyttäjiä houkuttelevat siniset aallonpituudet suodattuvat automaattisesti iltahämärällä pois. Kun valon sävy on lämmin, pölyttäjät eivät erehdy niin herkästi luulemaan valaistusta yötaivaaksi ja keskittyvät pölyttämiseen.
