Varsinaisen, toteutuneen elämänpolun sijastahan siinä saattaa varsin hyvin olla kyse pelon kuvajaisesta: ilmeisesti sinulle on käynyt unen kuvastamalla tavalla aiemmin, ja siksi pelkäät, että niin käy nytkin, vaikkei mikään siihen todellisuudessa viittaisikaan.

Ahaa, eli näissä fantasioissa on ikään kuin kyse tuon pienuuden ja heikkouden (pienuutesi ja heikkoutesi) tuhoamisesta, jolloin jäljelle jäävän on oltava vahvaa?

Strong acidity here, especially on the opening side. I like it! Hard to pick a favourite on just a couple of listen-throughs, but overall I favor the earlier tracks and feel the quality somewhat lessens towards the end of the album.

I disagree with the previous reviewer about the drums; IMO goa needs beats that drill through your skull, should you ingest too much. However, I would have liked a bit more texture in the tracks, more layers of sound, concurrent melodies and/or basslines. Maybe this is what evokes in others a sense of misbalance between the drums and the rest: the ’rest’ are slightly undermanned. (’Heroic Act’, which I’m listening to right now, sounds like one of the better ones in this respect, with many different complex and varying themes fusing nicely together.)

More layers would also allow for more build-up, which is another aspect of good goa.

Oletin viimeisen alkupuolella jo saavani vähän samaistumispintaa, mutta sitten ne juopot, joille toivoin käyvän kalpaten, jäivätkin junasta.

Kaikkien tarinoiden ”sinä” vaikuttaa ainakin pelokkaalta. Mitä muita ominaisuuksia pidät tälle ”sinälle” olennaisina? Mikä siis yhdistää tarinoittesi uhreja?

Itse pidän käsittääkseni melko tuoreesta ja vielä varsin pienten piirien tiedossa olevasta nimestä KÄSIMUNA.

Somebody comment on this god damnit, I want to know whether I got it right or just thought I did.

Just submitted Finnish translations for the three introductory videos. The process was a bit sluggish, but it was mostly due to my slow connection and poor video support in the browsers at my disposal. But the interface is pretty easy at least when I opted to download the subtitles, translate them locally and then upload the resuls and just do the review step in the browser. I appreciate the Universal Subtitles effort and really feel it’s important for the future of web video and global accessibility. Thank you!

Now a couple of remarks:

1. The ’edit title’ link next to the sharing box is slightly confusing: apparently, the title isn’t meant to be translated, but when translating a video, one expects such a link to mean just that. Which begs the question: why aren’t the video titles translatable? It’d be nice to also get a translated title when the video has translated subtitles.

2. This feedback form asks for my e-mail address even though I’m logged in and have thus provided my address already, so it’s redundant.

I won’t. I found all the rooms pretty horrible, and was just barely able to pick few as ”don’t like it” to have some nuance between them and all those I found plain hatable. The contemporary ones probably appealed to me the most, but everything, even the ones apparently intended as ’minimal’, was so cluttered I just couldn’t bring myself to like any of ’em.

Yes, I’d probably enjoy living in a prison cell.
